last time i went betws-y-coed i slept in a forest and there was about a foot of snow what i used to do to watch rally cars
I used to love WRC, shame it's lost it's way a little. Today I snaked all over north wales, mid wales, into the Brecon Beacons then home via Herefordshire and the Cotswolds. 400 miles, only the last 60 were a chore back into London. Brilliant day, more in love with the Daytona than ever, such a great front end. Wrists and knees hurt though... Oh, and I killed a couple of flies...
Did a 100 mile blast with the IAM guys on Sunday. was great getting out on a nice warm day. I dont do enough of this due to work wish I was able to get out more!
Nice. I do this a fair bit too (stopping off at my folks in Wolverhampton before heading out to mid/north Wales) and yeah, the slog back into London is complete shite!
Popped to the Standlake Vehicle Services bike night (Oxford ish). Great selection of bikes including an RX and couple of Daytonas. Hope they raised loads for the Air Ambulance
Had a ride to biggleswade then back across the a507 to buntingford lovely road just a shame about the traffic.
Still on walk-about done wet+++ 780+ miles west Coast Wales onto Coventry and cadwell, on the black and now far east coast for the w/e.
I travelled some of my local roads, some how I managed to cover 110 miles!! Felt so good haven't been out on it for such a long time, I was starting to pull my hair out haha!!
Well 5 days in all Ross. Missing the bike already. Went east in the car. Sadly it's raining now was going out this evening but gardening instead!!!! I'll be out tomorrow if it's dry. Um as far as I can recall you don't have much length on the hair to pull it out, are you planning on using tweezers!?
Very nice getting away Emma-Lou, scenery looks fantastic. Love your where have you been posts, you get out loads on the bike Hahaha, well I say where there's a will there's a way, I feel so happy after this weekend, instead of working I've actually done something. Haha
Quick solstice buzz to Stonehenge and round. Marred only by a young gun in a BMW. What a tit. Tried to take my better half off his bike by nearly hitting his rear tyre and then proceeded to nearly knock a cyclist off, all to prove how he couldn't drive his car very effectively. Goodness, me and these people also have a vote.
Sounds like a fun trip... Hope you're both home with a glass of something nice now. Hopefully the BMW drivers navigation to the polling both is as bad as his driving...
Quick 2 hour zip up to Chichester to accompany better 1/2 to festival of speed @ Goodwood. Got a pic of quaint English village post office midsummer, in the early hours, whilst we skip about merrily in our isolation, it's entitled: 'tidy bike, dirty mind'. As for Farage for PM, George, you're 'avin a f larff aintya mate, makes me feel slightly sick.
Well not all today but over last two weeks with other half well I proposed so we are close to being a whole. But we did length of France planned the width of Switzerland but got scared by the cost (wait their not in the EU aaaaaaahhhhhhhh) so did half and went down into Italy then up into Austria then along the south of Germany then West board into Luxembourg, Belgium, France now waiting for the train home with a starb's. P.s everyone seems to have a F'in nice car in Switzerland (they must be doing something right).
Went to Dunsfold Aerodrome today AKA top gear test track to go and see the Learn To Wheelie lads! Had a Fab day, after hours of trying and getting rained on heavily I managed to do a few of these...
We* done our usual of too much time spent faffing around this morning to do any major miles today. So it was quick trip down to The Departure Lounge nr Alton, via Wantage and Hungerford. Nice roads but where the hell did all of that gravel appear from??? *Erm, ok, when I say we, that kinda means I. View attachment DSC_0461.JPG
