More views from weekend - mate has a GS and rather the de-friend him (he hasn’t mounted a top box, yet) - I went along for a green laning trip though mid wales rather than stick to the usual faster routes - although they were on the menu on the way home :D IMG_3624.jpeg IMG_3625.jpeg IMG_3626.jpeg IMG_3627.jpeg

Last weekends run out. Just no where to go round here…:D although with the average 40 cameras on the “top gear road” over the black mountain, stops for pictures are obligatory now;) IMG_3879.jpeg IMG_3881.jpeg IMG_3882.jpeg

  4. Great pictures again, keep saying I need to find some different and more scenic places to ride but just can't be arsed with the travelling:(
At least the average speed zones let you relax (maybe too much) and not worry about winning any medals.:D

Great pics and remember some of those roads last time i was over that way.
I have to do at least 45 minutes before i can get onto any decent roads or views, but have done them all so many times now.
Need to find some new roads to explore.

If it’s any consolation - I’ve got 30mins of dual carriageway to get to any of the fun stuff from Cardiff, it just so happens the A470 is windy after the 50mph average/ 2nd gear/clean air zone at Pontypridd:)

Went out to Norfolk Tank Museum on Sunday, so got out onto some roads i didn't know and had a little look around there.
Nothing like the one at Bovington obviously, which is a good place to visit, but an interesting little place nonetheless.

  8. I had a quick stop at Hs cafe before brunch up in the Cotswolds with our Foxy Friend in Little Barrington on Sunday.

    (I do own a Daytona 675, honest!).

Not today, but tomorrow, BH Monday, will be riding up to Willingham Woods through some of the Lincs Wolds on some new roads to me, back via some familiar ones, and maybe a stop at Wymondham Windmill or Two Flags cafe.
Glad the weather seems to have aligned itself with our pre-planning. :D

Went for a ride this morning - first time in a few months - and felt good.
Apart from the wind it was a good ride - ended up near Elvington then headed over to the Squires Cafe (bike meet place) to grab a brew.

Then this turned up - never seen one in the flesh before and looked well engineered and put together.

  11. Quick trip to Oulton Park, only watching a Trackday.
Probably furthest I've been on it this year, forgot how much I dislike motorways, especially "smart" ones.

Although had the mot last week and still managed 1400 miles from last year, about half the Thruxton mileage.

Saturday was a rug up & make the most of the sunshine day - so it felt like a proper end of term day out, it was so busy:)

dropped into the excellent SE wales IMG_5537.jpeg IMG_5538.jpeg IMG_5539.jpeg https://bafflehaus.com/ with about 100 other bikes (and a number of 675’s & 765’s) for a late afternoon coffee & burger, before “taking it easy” on the way home;):D:cool:

  19. I have a feeling that your idea of, cough, taking it easy may not be the same as mine.

  20. Probably last ride of the year on the Daytona today, really nice day for late Oct, might get one more on the Thruxton at the weekend but then both will be SORNed and tucked away for the winter.
Apologies for the same boring picture I've no doubt posted more than once as its my most common stop.
