Have you done the road from Owler Bar down through Froggat, past the Chequer Inn, then over the lights at Calver heading towards Bakewell. Turn right at the bookshop rounderbout, along that road then left into Bakewell. Through Bakewell Head towards Matlock but turn right after Haddon Hall then first left on the Druid Inn road but don't turn to the inn, carry on up the hill and eventually meet the via Gelia road. Then back into Matlock etc ?

  2. Yep, its a regular fro me - well I say regular, I've only been on bikes for just over 2 years now. First bike was an FZ6 which I chopped in for a 675 as soon as I felt confident enough. I only live 2 minutes from Ladybower so Bakewell, Froggat, Calver are all my usual routings on a sunny day. I sometimes drop down via Buxton and do the Cat and Fiddle to Mac and then back home via Leek, Monyash and Bakewell too. Seems to a few on here who are from Sheff or know the area well. I've only been on here a month or so but its really good to see so many

Yep, done all those. Weekday evenings in the summer are the best times - not too many people about. I usallyy do a few BSB meetings ( watching I hasten to add!) if any body is interested in going.

  4. Hey Fishcake/Bladebiker :D

None of those runs are far from me, in Bury - post up any time you're out for a run. There's 2 of us over this way - Godzilla is just up the road. Also, wanting to do BSB again this year - 2 events at Cadwell and 1 at Oulton!

PS: Fishcake, where did you get your Union Jack lid? :?:

  6. SMC in Sheffield. Thought the 675.cc sticker would look cool there, not sure how long it will last with fly splat and cleaning though

    Any advance on 4?

  12. I was in there yesterday afternoon and they had a few on the shelf. Its totally standard apart from the dark visor, 675 forum stickers and some Arai race stickers on the side of the visor You can pick the Arai race stickers up on e bay dead easy

  13. Methinks a phonecall is in order - they don't have it on the website :(

    Thanks, Fishcake! :D

What a star. My CV is dog poo as it's over 10 years old. The wife's mate is a director for Relay Recruitment and she's had a look at it but as they are industrial she doesn't know the jargon :) I'll pm you shortly.

I know it's not the same, (not by a long way) but a few years ago I went to Tanks-alot up near Silverstone for a full day of driving tanks, and other armoured stuff I have never had so much fun - driving these things was great, plus some old SAS guys gave a talk about, well alot of things, mainly the weapons used. Anyway the point being I got to drive a few amazing vehicles without having to join the army  - As I am not cut out for that life. My cousins stories of Bosnia was enough for me.
