Not into the matte thing, had it, pain in the arse to look after and too easy to mark, once marked thats it. At least you can polish gloss... I think it looks better too, I like shiney... of course its all down to personal taste but I really dont see the point of having a finish thats hard to look after, easy to damage and impossible to repair... not for a bike that you intend to use in the real world.
