I think I said that I don't like rim tape...but go ahead and shoot me in the face & stab me in the back if you like, Chavtona!!
Oi you mr Valmoto, I sent you proper tape!!!! Now cut your cackle and stick it on, it peels off!!! Just do it 1-2" at a time, simples!
Rim-tape has been duly installed, Steffy!! ....it's on a Daytona in Worthing, W.Sussex...you can take a look if you want to??
I am the proud owner of the most travelled furry dice ever. They started life in China, then found a home in Halfords, where I took pity on them. They then went to California (after all, all the leaves were brown and the sky was grey, I went for a walk on such a winters' day (and bought them) - come on where do those lyrics come from?) And then they came back!!!!!! Currently dangling from the mirror in my Disco, but I feel the need to send them on some place else See-see-ers,watch your letter box
They went to California and were returned ......thinks to self "Now, who lives in California?".........
I bought these, rather than being in a roll, they were in pre-cut crescents for the size of my rims, so dead easy to put on
A mate at work has 'black reflective' rim tape, you can't see it until you're at a certain angle then it glows! Looks alright actually!
I think it depends on the bike. My dad had it on his old bike (05 R1) and it really set it off. Looks sh*t if it's too thick though. most ebay stuff is 6mm, 3mm looks far better .
I think rim tape looks lame but I have the grey reflective stuff on my wheels. You cant see it unless you really looked at my rims hard but its good for night time safety riding
