anyone else on here had probs with where the seat atatches to the sub frame, i fitted a track seat unit did not do the bolts up to tight as have fitted many a track fairing and come to take it off and the bloody bolts were just spinning!!! there like riveted threads in the sub frame fooking shit design if you ask me? can you buy these or is it a job for the dealer??? cheers gaz
They are called Rivnuts - you can buy 'em on the bay easily enough HERE is a selection of nuts and pliers. You will need to drill or cut the old ones out though. Usually they are pretty secure, you might get away with just nipping them up again if you can get at them with the correct pliers.
Mitch636 had a problem with his Noisygaz, some useful reading on this post: https://www.675.cc/675/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=12582&p IMO it is a good idea to put a smear of grease on the thread of the bolt that goes in it, when you have resolved this issue.
common problem then....cheers had a look at those posts some helpful advice on there should be a easy fix cheers
Yup I did indeed have this problem. I swore it wouldn't work when someone told me to run a tap through it but it did! Just hold it with pliers from one end and spin it until its all the way through and it'll be fine.
