What I wouldn't give for it to be 10 degrees over here today would be well happy with that anything is better than this poxy artic weather..

Yeah sorry gank. Should come for a holiday to AUS. You'd love the weather. Pretty good for riding all year, occasionally wet and sometimes way too hot, but normally pleasant

  6. Sorely tempted after the house is sold dude.

You can go off people quickly can't you!

It's properly cold today as well! Even though the roads are white from liberal application of salt, there was still ice on the edges and the back wheel was all over the place!

  8. Snap dude plus the STR they have given me to use as a courtesy bike is running Supercorsa's hence why I left much later than I normally would this morning so that the tin cans could break up the ice before I went thundering along. Honestly thought my thumbs were going to fall off by the time I got to London

I was out on the 675R last night (went to my bike club) - that's got SuperCorsas too. It wasn't a fast run in anyone's book! The salt had just been put down in drifts in places - which didn't help!
    Man it was cold!
Hope it's going to warm up by this afternoon as I'm off from Woking to Epping at 4:30.

  10. I hear you on that one I'm off from London to Tonbridge at 3:30 today perhaps earlier if my meeting finishes up promptly can't be doing with hanging around in this cold weather.

I was on the motorway this morning at half 6 without anything around my neck. I've never been so cold. I was only riding 10 minutes and when I got to my destination I couldn't feel my fingers at all. It hurt putting them in my pocket. I went straight to the toilet and used the hand dryer to warm my hands and blow a bit of warm air insude my jacket and down the pants! Felt better after that! lol

Nicely scraped R devil. It seems your repairs have done the job. Good work mate.!

  16. Not a bad idea that I'll try it next time I was almost waiting for the McGuiness Excuse there.... :?

Definitely farkin cold out there today think it is the coldest day of the week so far and quite frankly after riding all week in this weather I have decided Siberia can have it back and Winter can do one it's only 4 weeks until spring damn it and it will be a nice spring if the world knows what's good for it.

I blame Prius drivers for this weather stupid soya milk drinking hippies if we all drove V8's we'd have Miami's climate all year round

I gotta say this weather is killing me.
Been riding in but yesterday I just bitched out and took the tube. Fucking fingers are numb by the time I get to London.
The heated grips (R&G ones) just aren't powerful enough to do the job.
Going to give myself a nice upgrade to some Oxford ones for next winter.

They definitely help though and good ones would make the world of difference.
Even been considering those poncy pocket things that you stick on the bike - they might look gay but I'll be the one laughing when I can move my fingers enough to give you the birdie!! :)

  19. -8 celsius on the way to work this morning. Had to stop to warm my gloved hands around the engine. I'd even worn fingerless gloves under my Triumph 'Expedition' gloves. I think the name 'expedition' was a bit erroneous!
