    Scorpion I believe.

  2. Strange, can't see that listed on their site, nothing at all for the 2013 model.

the front has changed because the air intake has gone from 38mm to 57mm ish the give the bike more performance that was recommended by the guys who raced the 2011/2012 model so it had to change??? the ride is out of this world for a 600 IMO if your thinking of a rsv4 or s1000rr that's a total different ball game from the 675R its like nite and day

  4. Think it's just for t3 bikes ATM

  5. Yeah, the 'TAG' boys were running longer versions that looked like a traditional side mount exhausts, the T3's all had the Scorpion belly exhausts. My Guess is that Scorpion are just developing the range based on this and will offer a solution for the road.

I also have to say that the Scorpion is the fav of all the exhausts I have seen for the new model, the full race one looks absolutely stunning, really nicely built and sits up under the swing arm beautifully.

  6. Agreed but i have high hopes for the coming GP3 version from austin racing . The GP2/GP2R has some length/angle issues that i'm not 100% happy with. Their GP3 slipon looks great on the BMW 1000RR so hopefully it will look somewhat similar on the 2013 675.They also make it possible to keep the bellypan on the right side and will also make a left side for a more uniform look. That's what i dislike most with the arrow, two brothers etc, looks like shit when you have to remove the rear section of the bellypan.

  7. I agree, the bike looks rubbish with the Belly pan removed. That's my issue with the official Arrow pipe, it's the dodgy exposed mounting and cover that doesn't quite fit.

  8. Maybe it's only people that own an earlier model that don't like it because they feel they have been out done or something but everyone who sees mine is blown away by it. It is an incredibly sexy bike :)

Snap same here mate havent had one person not like it and get more looks than mates bikes, at snetterton next tuesday sure it will get even more looks.

  11. Guys, no-one is 'attacking' the new bike, and I deffo do not want to be considered to be doing so.. we all have Daytona's and I would be suprised if 2 are the same as we all have preferences as to which accessories we like and don't like etc.

I LOVE the new bike, I will say it again.... I want them to release it in a metallic black as that would be amazing but I agree it get's lots of looks everywhere as does the old one. The Ohlins and Brembo's just make the front end look un-crashable if that's possible, I rode an 'R' and it just feels so 'trick'.

  12. I don't feel out done by the new bike, i think its lost the unique looks of the earlier bike that made it stand out against the jap 600's, the new one looks like a CBR600F with some R6 thrown in.
Apart from the -1 sprocket there is no improvement in performance against the old bike, in fact around 8-9k its 7hp down just for some gain above 13k revs which i would never use on the road anyway. I'm sure the suspension is improved and the ABS is apparently very good but apart from that its not much of a leap forward.
The performance of all modern sports bikes is so far above my riding level that its acedemic, a big part of my decision will always be the way the bike looks and that means unfortunately that when the time comes to move on it won't be to a new 675 :(

Haha. What ??? There are TWO "old vs new" comparison tests laying on my desk (one german magazine and a french one) and BOTH of them say the exact opposite. More linear power curve, better running smoothness, more torque/stronger from ~6000-7800, ~9500-10300 and ~11800-max., better clutch function, better transmission... and YOU'RE bothered about the tiny power loss at around 8500 ??? None of these comparison tests say that the new model outclasses the old one (in fact, both of them say that the old model is still an amazing bike and anything but outdated), or that Triumph reinvented the wheel with the new model, but the improvent in performance is beyond question. I've payed a visit to my local Triumph dealer and his son (ex IDM Supersport 600 rider) two days ago in order to arrange a test ride for next week and both of them are absolutely blown away by the bike and confirm this...

I understand that most of you guys like the old model's looks better (and so do I - albeit by a narrow margin...) and will stay loyal, but this still isn't any sort of reason to be ridiculous...

I've posted this before (and of course hardly anyone wanted to see it):

More mag scans (including almost identical performance diagrams) coming soon.

  14. Different dyno's and different bikes but the old v new in Aprils Performance Bikes showed the "old" bike was stronger between 8k to 12k, i think any improvement has been made at the top end for the race boys, i bet there wouldn't be much difference between "old" and new with the same gearing.
I wasn't saying the 2013 model wasn't a better bike, no manufacturer would release an updated model that was worse, it was purely a personal opinion on the look of the new bike, as long as you like your bike thats all that matters. :)
The only "600" i would change my bike for is the MV F3, although thats based purely on the looks, if it rides as bad as some people say on the road then thats off the list as well, keeping my fingers crossed for the test ride :?

OMG. No ! The german "Motorrad" magazine, the german "PS" magazine, the austrian "1000PS" magazine, the french "Moto et Motards" magazine, MCN/Motorcyclenews, my local Triumph dealer (who put both models through the dyno and got very similar results to the once I've posted), his son (who owned a 2009 model for 4 years and now switched to the new model) and ANY review I've read/seen so far disprove this. Even MCN's performance diagram - in which the old model does better than in any other diagram or text review I've seen - shows the new model's superiority.

    Not only, but also...
