Looks are entirely subjective...I think my D650 looks fantastic because it is distinctive...I think the original 675 is much prettier, but I dislike the undertail exhaust...looks like when a cat stretches and sticks it's arsehole in the air.
The new bike looks great but I don't like everything about it, you just can't please everyone.

  10. Sorry folks but ive changed my mind after seeing the bike in the flesh the new one looks the dogs danglee's :D in some pictures taken slightly high and further back it makes the nosecone seam really big but in the flesh she's a stunner.....so much so i went through some figures with the guy at the showroom he offered me a whopping 5400 for my 09 se with 3200miles even though he knows its been a race bike for the last 2 years.... :D But and theres always a but i'd be using it for race only and i can pick one up through T3 for £7200 so i think ill wait till later in the year when my house is sold and order onr from t3...

  11. I have a 2011 Phantom Black Daytona which, even when it's filthy looks great but I would have a 2013 model in a heart beat. It's grown on me, I even like the exhaust, and with a smaller tail tidy the back end will look even slicker!

  12. Guessing you were at the bike show today Bryan, ya git! I wanted to be there, try and get a new one piece suit.

Glad you liked the new one m8, it is very nice. I just couldn't justify spending the extra for something that's going to be track use only. How many times have we seen brand new bikes getting brought of the track in the recovery van, breaks my heart.

You looking forward to our we road trip to pick up mine :) You got your Knockhill Club membership for this year yet. Members only track night on the 30th should be good.

There have been two comparison tests in the German "Motorrad" and "PS" magazine (two of the most competent in our country) lately. 2013 675 R VS 2012 675 R and 2013 675 VS 2013 ZX-6R 636 VS 2013 GSX-R 750. Thought this could be interesting for you guys and did some scans..

congrats I love mine and yes the tail is bad mine looks a lot better this tail tidy and rear pegs off.

  17. I love my 06 daytona and still think they're gorgeous. must admit when i saw the pics of the 2013 bike in MCN recently i thought it was proper ugly..... now i've seen one in the flesh I WANT ONE.
The new/2013 headlights are the only letdown imo

  18. the big change for me is the Ergonomics, not sure what it's like when Riding, but it feels even more roomier when sitting on it, and the new Gel seat is superbly comfortable, not that the old one wasn't, still a big improvement on standard.

I have the gel seat and its very comfy compared to any other seat I have had, I agree its very roomy I am near on 14 stone and what always put me off the older 675 was that I looked huge on it and couldn't move this 13 bike is totally different, the bike is so quick off the mark and talk about fire out of a corner also I tried leaving it in 5th/6th coming out of 30/40mph limits and it pulls like a gooden unlike other 600cc bike I have ridden where u would want to be in 2nd/3rd gear.

  20. I agree with all of that but maybe don't so much agree that the old one is cramped particularly, I like the higher bars now, I still think the seat height should have been bought down a touch more, a bit more sit 'in'
