The Hornet was a great little bike, loads of fun on the twisty B-roads. Just a little cramped for me – caught my reflection in a shop window one day and I swear I looked like a gorilla trying to hump a football. Not good.
The D675 although narrow, sits a lot higher and fits my frame a lot better. Very happy with the bike.
Is it wrong that I’m already thinking of a new exhaust, removing the pillion foot-pegs, changing the screen……. The list goes on!

Darren, the image of my bike at the Dyno day are the pads I sent you!

The round end went near the tank pad and the straight edge lined up with the handle bar end.

If you look in my gallery at the new large ones you'll see how the large looks and lines up with the straight section on the 675.

    Hope that helps,

In the words of our leader Homer J Simpson Doh!!

Lol....yeah didnt really mean it like that. It suited her because she is only 5' 2" and its a nice bike to handle around the place.

Mum, Dad, Grandad, Uncle....I was doomed from the start.

This must be why I know nothing. No one in my family rides. So aged 30+ I'm first up. Hence my dumb questions!!

So summing up 5' 2" girls ride Hornets! Hehe x

The hornet was "Charlotte the harlot"

Still playing with this but may settle on " Dirty Gerty" for the 675.

No, - I just put them on the way I thought worked best & looked best on my massive tank....I'd merely forgotten about that when I mentioned it to Matt.

My mates at work nick-named mine "Bumble-Bee" back in the day when it was all yellow...I guess the name has stuck with me.
