yeah it's a grey to try and match the end cap of the Akros.

I'm still thinking less might be more and going full wsbk might be mental

    Ok @Red675 @Phill748

Nephew has dropped this bombshell via text - "WSBK looks like Milwaukee Yamaha. Don't look at and think it's Ducati. Moto Rapido deffo"

So i reckon to keep my nephew and @StMarks happy i'll go for that. Just need to find a pic of the front of the bike.

  4. I like this one, can leave your red panels then just add the black as a vinyl.

  5. Okay, just caught up... Fair enough just avoid the Italian flag tat, and green.... ;-)

  6. I'm considering carbon for my bike, Black Friday discounts etc but can only afford one thing, and can't decide whether to go gloss or matte. I think I want to go Matte because all the carbon on the superleggra is matte and it makes me go un-necessary....

But what to get, mudguard to replace the black plastic one, or the really cool carbon panel that goes around the rear lights under the tail?

Go for something you can see the key surround? Or front mudguard as rest will be getting filthy

  8. Yeah, the more I think about it though, the mudguard will be £125 and I can get my shock rebuilt for £175 so might just wait and do that instead. Or buy another shock from eBay so I have one to send off to get rebuilt so I can straight swap them

To be honest I'm having a hard time remembering as i've been on the Monster 1200 for so long and off the 899 BPF's for 3 months.

They certainly work well and are definitely firmer but with good compliance over bumps. I remember being blown away by the feeling at lean and this was straight after riding the 899. They have a more conventional feel to them than the initial support the BPF seems to add during braking phase.

They are really easy to feel the road with and i actually found them more confidence inspiring in the wet and damp, even on Supercorsas.

Youre picking up a ducati 1299 to use as a commuter, 10 days before xmas? What would some of the OAPs on the ducati forum say about that?

I imagine I'll be excommunicated. Login revoked and shamed publicly for daring to actually use a machine in forking out for.

    Can't wait...
