Come on - pass or fail you can't leave us hanging? I'm hoping you've passed and you're out somewhere enjoying the roads in the decent weather! (As opposed to drowning your sorrows in a pub...)
Excellent Dude. You must feel pretty happy with yourself. Now try and not be a statistic and crash in the first 6 months of owning it......I did it hurts and it's not big or clever. However, get it on the track as soon as you can. You'll love it. The road is just that bit of tarmac that leads to the tracks.
Thanks everyone for your kind words, I will be taking it carful and will only be opening it up where it is safe and I can see well ahead! (Ie straights) until I get used to the bike completely as its very different to the Honda hornet I've been riding. Will be getting the arrow fitted this weekend.
Yep agreed first 6 month is the hardest not to crash...I did too...a tip, dont ride angry!! Enjoy the bike and be careful if you got the supercorsa tyres dont go hooning it round a bend when youve just started riding...wait till they are warm! Sent from my LT30p using Tapatalk 4 Beta
I'd advise having a look at Snipers post the in twat of the week section, in fact look at everyone's posts in that section - mine included, its not hard to get into trouble and be a dick on a bike, that's for sure. We're all living proof of that! Enjoy your freedom, your bike and being part of the clan, welcome in James.
Congrats on passing, now the learning begins :? i moved from a Hornet to a Daytona after 12 months, its a very different feeling, kinda like being on tip toes, i was tense at first and holding on too tight, just try and relax in the knowledge that the bike is way better than you are, if you come to a corner a bit quicker than you expected, don't panic just tip it in and it'll get you round.
Hey, me, 23Dark and Rossgo are in an even more select club than this forum!!! Well done on passing James. Cue the cheesey grin
Thought I would post up a few picks of my new toy Fitted all my GB racing engine covers, sliders, tank protectors and Arrow exhaust.
they show on mine, looks great mate needs a tail tidy and perhaps get rid of the pillion pegs, but im sure you've got it all under control
