Welcome Ben :toast: Good to have another 'Southern Softy' on board.
My bike is also an earlier model with an 09 plate!

  7. Wow, your SV looks so dated next to a D675. Damn, we all own such cool bikes :D

Have you got a can on yours yet, Tona, and did I read you SORN'd it?

    Welcome along fella

  10. Was that intended for me?
No can as of yet will need to get one, they had a few Arrow ones in-store but generally I love the way Scorpion Cans sound. Seen a few vids on YouTube as well of owners changing their can. The SV sounds nuts with an aftermarket, but my God the triple sounds great. Just its own sound. Rather than generic V's.
    No not SORNd.

  11. That post was for me mate.

The Triumph TOR(Triumph Off Road) cans sound awesome and they are a decent price too. I've had a few different cans, Scorpion, TOR, custom made and just waiting to get a Leo Vince can fitted. The Scorpion sounded smoother than the TOR and was much lighter but I preferred the TOR as it was more raspy, still SLIGHTLY lighter them stock. Custom Ti and Carbon can was waaaaay to loud for my dodgy ears but the whole system including headers weighed 5kg so was good in that way, looked the dogs bollocks too. Hope it helps.

Fuelling is rubbish with scorpions as a few will confirm from the dyno day. Tor can make good power and for the money you can pick em up for it's a perfect choice. and and easy fit. Correct mapping available for peanuts.

  13. Im sure their are many threads on here about best can selection so ill have a look through them all. Lots to learn. Good times.
Steffydogs' sounds pretty sweet so ill take my time in choosing the best can for me.

    Ben, buy the bloody thing^^^^^!!!!

I have a TOR - the rasp is orgasmic, and it pops and burbles beautifully on the overrun, you won't be disappointed.

  16. ++++++++++++++++++1 on that

Cost of cleaning my leathers is getting too much. I need to wear a nappy (or is that a completely different lifestyle choice) ;)

  17. the tor is good but jardine is better imo

  18. Never heard one running with a Jardine so can't comment. It's a fantastic engine and sounds reasonable on standard can. A 675 Xmas single using the various exhausts sounds is what's required to stop cod piece cowell buying the Xmas number 1 spot with that bunch of useless feckers from X Factor (can you tell I am a fan)

    Welcome mate, enjoy the site

  20. Oh chaps I would love too buy the can, but right now I'm skint after getting the Bike. So I'll keep it in mind and if its still available when I have the cash then a PM will be inbound. :)
