Thanks for the warm welcome everyone, in my hands scorched yellow will never be the fastest colour I'm afraid! As for the modding, does it get any better?! I'd like a set of gold levers already, but like the standard exhaust. My SV has a really noisy ART can on it and the Daytona is soo much quieter at motorway speeds. And actually more comfortable to be on I reckon! See you all around I hope, and I'll get a hoody ordered, they look cool!
So the modding has begun already. Essential item though so not sure it really counts as a mod. Having bought these it enabled me to give the chain a good sort out and clean up the back wheel. Was a bit suprised by the 35-40mm slack as recommended in the owners manual, thought it would be 20mm max. Is this a triumph thing or have I been wrong in the past? Anyway, I love this bit of getting a bike, sitting down getting to know each little part of it, appreciate the little bits of engineering. Love the USD forks. A different thing to previous bikes I've had, these gold brake calipers. What do people use to get them up shiny? I'm using duck oil for the mechanical bits, but best keep it away from the brakes eh?! They're a bit caked in brake dust at the moment.
