    Hi Guys and Gals,

After recently selling my Aprilia Tuono 1100 I am without a bike for the first time in 15 years. Although I would love another Super Naked, currently my budget does not stretch that far and I do fancy another pocket rocket.

The 2013+ Daytona R is top of my list, I used to own an 09 Street Triple R so I know how addictive and fun the Triple can be. Like all bikes I am sure it has its niggles (my 09 had the stator issue), so it would be great to hear from any owners on what to look out for before I part with my cash?

    Cheers
    James

  2. On all triumphs, crankcase bolt tightening and hose clamps (often loose from factory).

On the newer models I'm only aware of worn gear selector shafts (check it doesn't pop out of gear or miss-select between 1st and 2nd) and failed countershaft oil seals behind the front sprocket. A number of bikes have had them fail.

Oh, and some seem to say the 675r discs can warp easily but I can't speak for this. Mine was pretty good tbh

Have a look at my 675R in for sale section you won't find a better looked after bike imo

I have owned 3 675R and the only trouble I have had is a wobbly mirror and on my trackbike 675R I had a heat sensor go.
