Did my ist track day last Monday on my kwak before I got 675. I expected novice group to be mainly road bikes and people on their 1st track day. How wrong can you be. Only three road reg bikes out of about 30 and I was only one not to have previously done a track day. Even in novice those on non road bikes are significantly faster (less fear factor). Cadwell great track but very tiring. Would prefer to do one of these road bike only novice track days.
bit of a baptism of fire for you then at cadwell. that curcuit is very popular and now you know the reason why coz it's a fantastic place. tthink if you had done another track(rockingham for instance is a much wiider track) then i'm sure there would have been some slower people. perhaps you just picked a day when lots of fast people wanted to ride cadwell
It's never about speed Reddevil, it's about having fun...the speed will come soon enough! ...not soon enough for me, though!
oh I will. Sorry to see your other post about possibly giving the bike up Curtis - don't do it, I'm sure you'll regret it, even if you only have a ride out a few times a year. Yes of course you could buy another in time but it just won't be the same bike, the one you've loved, fettled over time and had so many good times on. Best of luck whatever happens matey
