ok lets start again. What about british leather brands. ive found BKS but they seem to have a limited range?
actually i think they are made in the uk. However im not so much concerned as to where they are manuafactured, just prefer it to be a british company. Rule britannia and all that crap!!!!!
The stitching is poor. I got a set of RST at Beaulieu 8 years ago. After a few weeks the stitching started to come away between the elasticated waist and the leather. They were made in China, so that does keep the price down. Wait for the Bank Holiday sales at your local Triumph dealer, and buy a good set at half price. After all if you're happy with an English company being in control, go Triumph!
triumph leathers are a definte no, no. See attached link http://www.visordown.com/features/every ... 20460.html
So far the only ones ive seen that i would consider are BSK. I didnt think this would be such a ball ache!!!!!
I think you need to define what a 'British Company' actually is... there aren't many as everything is global these days.
If you take every bit of advice on the web you'll end up with no choices at all! Nothing wrong with riding a Triumph and having Triumph leathers. I think you're being a bit too fussy. You can choose from Spada (owned by Feridax which is also British), Crowtree Leathers, Weise, British Motorcycle Gear (own brand), Lion Leathers, Nexx Sports, Am Leathers, London Leathers, Randan Sports... probably loads more.
Try this: Hideout Leathers Stables 2 & 3 Goldstones Farm, Radwinter Road. Ashdon, Nr Saffron Walden. Essex CB10 2LZ 01799 584828
ok this is crap. I might have to extend my search to europe. At least its in the same continent i guess
