Anyone know a mobile mechanic in northants?

I need a domino quick action throttle fitting in the next week..bought it thinking strate swop but no had to buy the fitting kit so it's a full cable change job..I have the 2012 675r and the bike is going a week today for portimao!!
Anybody on here know anyone up for the job??

Isn't it just a case of removing the tank to get access to the wheel where the cables connect? If so the tank is easy to remove!

 

Its an air box off job too.

That's true, that's even easier once a few screws/bolts are out.

 

I changed the throttle cable on mine today. It's tank and air box off. Then the manual says to remove the throttle bodies in order to access where the cables hook in. I just used long nose pliers to get them out/back in. Really fiddly, but I couldn't get access to remove the throttle bodies. Make sure you set the locknuts to the right length.

 

In case you haven't got the manual.

And if you want to remove the throttle bodies. (Not necessary IMO)
