ZXR400 (MOT’d and taxed but selling as an unfinished project) J Reg, very little history tbh but I have basically spent a fair bit getting it MOT’d. It has had: - GSXR Brakes fitted with adapters (£130), rear brakes cleaned and free’d up. - Rear wheel Cush drive etc replaced and wheel bearings checked (£60). - Brand new Avon Tyres (£170). - Speedo was broken for some time, now fixed (hence not sure of true mileage). - New Oil/Coolant and filters throughout, also a new battery (£100). - Remus E-marked exhaust fitted as the standard was falling apart (£100). It obviously looks rubbish tbh! I have various spare panels and bits and pieces but the fairing that is on there is fiberglass and solid, so okay for road or track. The only issue the bike has is that it needs the carbs sorting. I had them cleaned but I don’t think they have done a very good job and it’s running really rough. I have had some flooding (suggesting sticking floats) and I think it floods at the lower rpm range because when you ride it it accelerates perfectly at the top end and pulls really well, but the fueling is all over the place. I’m being completely honest! And asking for £600 (allowing £150 for carb sorting etc) for it as an MOT’d bike, I simply don’t have the time to do it and want the money to go in my bike change pot. As you can see from above I am really only looking to re-coup what I have spent on it, as I bought the bike for £400 before I did anything too it! *I'll add the pictures as soon as I can! tbh mate, it's not a huge project, apart from the visuals and sorting the Carbs I don't think. I don't wanna hide anything though so would rather sell it as such.
I think I'm going to sell the zxr after all, I have just spent another £330 getting the carbs professionally cleaned and rebuilt with new float valves etc. I am using the bike to ride to work and it still has some hesitation under load on part throttle so I think needs carbs balanced or valve timing adjusted. So... £600 for a 90% finished project that is available for test rides, PM me if interested.
Cracking price IMO. Perfect way to save the 675 from the winter salt etc O would be interested, except I already have one for exactly that reason.
Yeah, I like the bike but we are back to being a two car household so have even less need to ride in crappy weather! We will see, I haven't really advertised it anywhere yet, other than here and word of mouth

I'm thinking of going down the ebay route for the zxr at the weekend, but will prob put it on for £750 min to cover fees etc. I've added some pics anyway.

Hi Phil thanks for sending me the pics back then. I would love to take it on, but already got one bike that I need to fix & sell and another that I should fix and use.
It's a decent little bike, but does need finishing, ie spraying and finally sorting the carbs. I just don't have any other time to put into it and don't have the tools to balance the carbs properly. I got offered £300 and a set of tyres but they were diablo 2's and I'm not really interested in them. I'm going to put metzeler or dunlops on my 675r
