After selling my street triple track bike A few weeks ago I've now replaced it with a 2015 zx6r.

As usual I bought it damaged. I'm currently in the process of swapping the frame as its bent. Here are a few photos. You will see the wheel is touching the exhaust. I'm looking forward to getting it done and getting out on it!

Well....There is no marks at all on the frame but the forks have been checked and are perfect. The yokes are very slightly bent but not enough to make it touch the wheel. ImageUploadedBy675cc1434820752.942333.jpg

If you see on this photo where the engine mount is it not flat, it's been bent out a little so my guess is the headstock is not bent as such but the frame has gone wider if you get me and pulled the head stock in.

Yes I did look at getting the frame straightened but there is a breaker at scarbrough breaking 3 new bikes that have had the engines removed for bench testing, so it works out cheaper to put a new frame on.

  5. Cool, looking forward to seeing it finished mate. what year is the bike ? 2014?

Ye I'm sure it will be good thanks! I'm excited to get it done but Ive actually enjoyed stripping it. I just don't know what to do pain wise.

It was a 15 plate registered on the 20-03-15 and written off the same day!!

It came with no clocks but looking at the tyres it's not been rode. I don't know what's happens!

Haha I like the thought of it been the first one Rossgo! But I think possibly one of the others. There is only a tiny scuff on a casing and the tank on the left side so I was thinking it's fell of something or it's been stood out and hit by a car possibly?!?

  12. Maybe fell off the fork lift when unloading it from wagon, would explain the force to bulge the fragile out from a front end drop

Think that's a good idea. Give them a quick call, always nice to know what exactly happened - adds to the story when it's all done and looking sexy!

I went and picked my frame up yesterday and I got a few hours in today.

I've got it pretty much built back up now.

I also got hold of the dealer that sold it and they contacted the original owner and he apparently had the spare key and books. They said they had passed on my number but I haven't heard anything yet

  16. Nice work, would be a right result if you get a key and docs. Is it easy to work on?

    Cheers!!

Ye a spare key would be a bonus see as I'm unless with keys!!

Ye it's pretty straight forward to be honest. I though it was going to be a pain putting the loom back in but it's all gone together like a dream! I'm not going to get chance to touch it this week but I'll hopefully get it fired up next weekend fingers crossed. I just need a track fairing now!

  19. Good work mate and it's always good to see some tinkering taking place.
