At long last got the chance to take the zx10r out today and what a bike. It was gonna have to be good to beat the fireblade in my eyes but I may have been converted! Feels really planted while hard accelerating, copes well through slow moving traffic and corners are a dream. Only fault I could find on a short trip was the lack of clutch lever adjustment which is easily rectified. Almost signed the deal today but may have found a slightly better deal at another dealer so going there tomorrow. Shame to let the 675 go so cheap but looks like I'll have to just live with that. If I sign deal tomorrow I'll also have a very nice set of RC Spectrum levers for the blade for sale which I've been hanging onto just in case.
I over heard them trying to figure out your p/x value whilst I was loitering around the place so hope they gave you a fair p/x price. Kristy
As always not what I was hoping for. Hoping it was gonna go to a good home on here but ah well that's life.
The one I looked at today was 2011 bike on 12 plate. Looking at a 2012 tomorrow. Much prefer paint scheme on 2012.
Same thing basically the bike that's used in the Kawasaki zx10r cup! Sorry I mean superstock 1000... Usin it as a two up bike? That's an expensive way of doin it. More like track bike and buy a bandit for that surely??
Bandit would be by far a better bike for two up and still pretty decent for a blast but I've only been riding for just over 5 years and nowhere near ready to give up the sports bike yet Thought I was going to go straight back to the blade as had two before and not that bad for the pillion I'm told but today I think I've found something better.
If your going to do 2 up riding get the 14R. It's far more comfortable and handles far better then you would think for such large bike. Also that spot under the bike that looks like oil is from my Hardly Ferguson
Never mind the agricultural machinery, that looks like a nice early 'Vette behind it, far more tasteful and desirable.
