Where to put regulator on race bike?

Where have you guys bolted regulator rectifier on your race bikes. Mines a 2012 675r so was bolted to inside fairing. Need somewhere to out it now so it isn't rattling around my race fairing.

Velcro, good idea

 

Velcro is a magical bit of kit and should be in everyone's toolbox

 

I simply undid the loom. Took out one off the extension wires and put it near rear shock.

 

Womble that's cos u had a newer loom on an older bike but he won't have the bracket to do that

 

I cable tied mine to the underside of the air intake. No adjustments to wiring needed.

 

I am thinking of velcro/tie wrap'ing it to the underside of the battery box.

Is there Space enough there for full schock/swingarm travel...???

 

On my 2006, I bolted an R1 rectifier (upgraded before triumph started doing it on goodwill) to the bottom of the battery box, never had a problem... lots of airflow and plenty of room. You can even squeeze the wires through the bottom of the tank to the main loom connection.
