Well I have looked in to building my own timber workshop and there’s not a lot in the price of getting one delivered. The base is easy as that’s what I do for a living the dumper/ digger are mine. I reckon it will be 4K completed but I ain’t skimping

That is a beauty! I was at the Ohio BSA Owner's Club rally earlier this year. The guy that hosts it and is president of the club has 50 something BSA's in all perfect condition!

Hang onto that bike and enjoy it!

Bullet proof bikes and a great platforms for the track when the suspension is converted! I haven't ridden an SV650 but I have ridden an SV1000. Nice bike!

2010ish Speed Triple? Wicked bikes. I'm currently designing a signal for the 2011+ Speed Triples.

Nice. I'm running low on garage space myself.

Maybe I'm naive but it seems like a lot of residential space in the UK is very tight and limited. Yeah?

Nothing wrong with that! I'd rock a scooter for fun! It would be fun to put a 250 or 500 two stroke in one.

  16. It started off as payment for dropping off a bike I was selling. He paid asking price on the bike, I had to deliver it to just north of Dublin (I'm in Manchester). For £300 or so petrol & ferry cost, I got this little lot:

It came with the posh custom made yokes and the intention to put renthals or something similar on it, but that soon changed, it's not really my style.
As part of the bundle I also got thrown in for free a whole load of other bros related bits: a frame, forks, swingarm, pair of standard wheels, the normal bros tank and tail, a fairly rowdy looking stubby exhaust, a spare radiator, and an africa twin engine from a written off bike (numbers X'd out so it can't go back on the road). Since then i've sold most of the bits which basically means the bike itself cost me about £0, but then i've bought other stuff for it, had the carbs ultrasonically cleaned, a set of dunlop alphas, koso clocks, various ducati stuff, plus I'm having to farm out the welding on the subframe for the new seat, the brackets to hold the tank on etc, so that the entire cost so far is about £500.

I've had it for about 18 months, it'll be at least another 6 the way I'm going too. one day, just after the petrol's run out, I'll have it finished.

  17. In addition to the D675, I mostly spend my life in a Ka or whatever C8 complient works vehicle they're stupid enough to let me loose with, which currently is a Bipper. Ughhhhhh. At this time of year I don't even get out on the tona, let alone another bike. Plus Mr J would have words with me if I tried to sneak something else into "his" garage, although a cheapie track bike has been discussed for 2018.

It's the S1000XR same engine as the RR in an "adventure" frame. It's tuned down a little to 170bhp but, it's still like being launched into space in an armchair.
