While it's winter outside been doing quite a bit on my bike to get ready for next season.
Mine is 2007 Street Triple, I wasn't very pleased with the original cowl it comes with. Decided to do an upgrade from later model. Lifted and moved out a little headlights to achieve more finished looks. Off to paint soon, to match the bike in black. Painting both, cowl and headlight cups. cowl.jpg cowl2.jpg

87dhf0HKQoOPzZBfSZjpXQ.jpg Sold mine to t3/ABM Quattro team who put a bikes wanted advert on here. They will be using the engine for BSB gp2 next season. I think they may list other parts from the bike for sale on here.
i will be putting some brand new, still packaged flush mounted indicators that i imported from America and never got around to fitting up for sale soon. (Weston or Watsons, i can't remember exact name)
Loved the bike but it was time for a different style of bike.

The black nissins and the '12 numberplate were the big clues!

Put some fuel in, changed the clocks to km and started it up for the first time in the Southern Hemisphere. Fired up first time. Now to get it registered!

  14. As I have a bit of time on my hands I got this out of storage to give it a blast / service.
Did about 50 miles to warm it up ready for the service as its not been ridden for about a year ish. (photos was taken on Friday)
Once I got home and took the fairing off, I noticed a small oil leak from the front rocker cover gasket.
So, fairing, radiators, wheels off and oil / coolant drained.rocker cover removed and treated to a good clean.
I have these gaskets in my spares box so it will be put together today and given another ride before back into storage.

These bike are just superb and hold up to the test of time... get one if you can or badger a mate to have a ride on one/

  20. I waved bye bye to my RS250 as it was sold yesterday.
This was taken last week after it was given a small service prior to selling it and no riding restrictions here.
