Anyone looking to re-home a front seat that offers a bit more bum grip than the standard one? I'm in jeans more than leathers these days and I'm slip sliding all over the place. I've been hunting for Saddlemen, Alcantara, Lois Moto, Volcano etc, etc, for a while on eBay and haven't found anything that I a) like and b) doesn't cost more than a new bike.
Fwiw I personally prefer to prevent sliding around by gripping the tank with my knees (tank TechSpec panels) rather than stick to the seat. Good luck, and please let us know how you get on.
I was hoping you'd say that. PM'd you. Buggered knees and flabby, unused core muscles (oh, and did I mention a poor riding style?) means I just plonk my arse in the bike and mostly forgot about knee gripping. Plus, the MotoGrafix tank protectors on Steffy look fab and are kind to leathers, but don't offer any grip.
