Hi folks,my garage is a bit damp so I thought I’d protect all of connections on the wiring loom with some Vaseline.I’ve never done this before so was wondering if I could use more than plenty or if sparingly is better??Anyone out there who knows??
    Cheers Nik

Nik, I've never been sparing with the Vaseline...but then I've never used it for connectors before! Some sort of anti corrosion protection sounds like a great plan but would dielectric grease or similar not be a better shout? I don't know for certain but given it's critical it does no harm I'd maybe buy the gear designed for the job. Someone here with real knowledge will be along shortly. Preventive maintainance always pays off in my experience mind
