really? would suggest his "snivelling fanboys" make up rather a large % of moto gp crowds and the sport would be a bit shit without them think wsb but even shitter
Have u seen the video tweeted by Toby moody.... It's an 'exchange' between Valentino and the Dorna guy, suggesting they will 'talk later' I think Rossi has a right to his opinion but his last stab at Lorenzo saying it wasn't one on track and that he must feel hollow is probably taking it a bit far! I personally feel that Marquez was REALLY pushing the limit but I guess we will never know, but will likely argue about it until Qatar 2016!
i mean the ones that perpetuate all the conspiracy theories and think that Rossi can do no wrong, not the "real" Fans of Rossi, they will still follow MotoGP once Rossi has gone. (which he will have to do at some point.)
Rossi and fanatics at PI and Sepang - "Don't interfere with other riders" Rossi and fanatics at Valencia - "Why didn't you interfere!" Fact conveniently forgotten to suit himself: FIM/Dorna telling off on Thursday were they were all told to respect riders fighting for championships and not make any rash moves. All Rossi's outburst has done is underline one big fact - HE WASN'T FAST ENOUGH TO WIN BY HIMSELF Who i really blame for the whole thing is HJC. If Lorenzo hadn't had 3 helmet fuckups this season he would have been leading going into the final round. That is a fact.
My mate works 'closely' with a supplier and says the issue is actually that Lorenzo doesn't have a helmet technician for whatever reason. The liner was fitted incorrectly at one race and the other, he didn't have the pinlock in!
I consider myself more of a Marquez fan than a Rossi fan so when Marquez was not in the running naturally you consider other riders chances and I thought it would be nice to see Rossi win a 10th title, a bit of a fairy tale for the sport and something that would also bring the sport into the general sports media more - lets be honest if it was just Lorenzo winning the title most media outlets wouldn't even bother reporting it. As a fan of Marquez because of his determination to win, his hard charging style and the obvious enjoyment he takes from the sport when he gets off the bike and talks to the media with a smile on his face and rarely complains I found his racing certainly in the last few races a little out of character, particularly Valencia, his only overtake was to take back his second place. When Rossi planted that seed of doubt at Malaysia you'd think he would want to prove to the world what utter nonsense it was and fight like he normally does until the bitter end, until his tyres were literally falling off the rims. As a racer you'd expect him to want to go out on a high after a poor season and win the last race, Honda certainly wanted that to take some of the limelight off of Yamaha yet he followed Lorenzo around that track like a lost puppy. He was on Lorenzo's back wheel for almost the whole race, when has Marquez ever done that before without trying at least one banzai move? Right on his back wheel yet there was no lunge like there was on the last lap at Assen where he came from much further back or a collision like at Argentina where he fought so hard. People talk about Rossi starting this media frenzy by calling out Marquez's actions at Phillip Island but lets not forget Marquez had already aimed a few barbed comments Rossi's way at Argentina he said "always said that he's my idol and my reference, so you always learn things from him" and at Assen after his late lunge caused a collision he said ""I feel that we won the race," "I think he already saw me." Up until that point they seemed to have a good relationship, shaking hands after a hard fought race, pats on the back etc. To me things changed between them much earlier this season, maybe it was Marquez feeling the pressure for once, having to defend his title on a bike that was not what he was used to being given by Honda, seeing it slip away so early on and maybe this is Marquez's true character coming out now and if that's the case then he's lost a fan.
Well u have seen what happens when riders are left to do it themselves!! All top Bsb riders have kit technicians, carrying helmet spares, boot spares, leathers etc to support the rider, let alone GP Riders!
Looked to me like Marquez was getting ready to pass then Dani came past him. Rossi said to Carmelo (Dorna head) - see you in my motorhome later. Balance of power is way off if this is the case. If the championship was rigged surely it would be rigged in Rossi's favour as that generates the most $$$$$$$$$$$$
Yep, agree, it looked like Marquez was going to pass into turn 6 and then Pedrosa had a bite, what Marquez should have done is let Pedrosa romp up to Lorenzo but I can understand Marquez not wanting to get beaten by his team mate!!! Let alone protecting Lorenzo, tbf I was convinced Marquez was going to loose the front every time he got close to Jorge!!!
All the rossi fans over the internet are pathetic commenting on every moto gp post. Its embarrassing id hate to be one of them
Anyone seen some of the news from Jerez test? Sr45 seems to be quite quick on the pramac already, unfortunately Honda don't. @MotoGPJules: Looking at Jerez results, Ducati not surprisingly getting on with Marelli unified software. Honda, despite their Open teams in '15, are not. Stop sniggering at the back.
