Updated: Race/track parts Daytona 675

Pm sent reference damper.

Does anyone know if I can't find the Toby fitting kit for the damper for a Daytona, if I can use the Harris one on a toby damper? To my untrained eye it looks similar

I'd have the forks off you if you didn't need to swap them it's for my 06-08 track bike, just in case I get a bit more crashy.

 

23dark I was thinking the same thing. I reckon the Harris kit will fit, possibly after some small modification.

 

Forks still available. Bike will be sold with them on if no one wants them.

You mean sell them on their own? Only issue is finding a replacement set. I want to be able to advertise the bike next week at the earliest but don't want to have to wait 2 months for a set to come available on eBay etc

Yes damper still available. It's a Toby Racing damper. Requires fitting kit but I have not enquired about this with them so I'm not sure if there's one available but worth a shot. Can also be fitted in place of stock damper but you'd need the front fairing off to adjust or reach down. Can't comment on its effectiveness as I never used it on track.

 

Thanks all for the interest. I have now sold all the parts from my bike except for:

TRW race rearsets
Toby Racing adjustable steering damper
Spare swingarm
Standard exhaust

I will probably put them on Ebay when we get another free listing thing so if anyone needs/wants get in touch via PM.

it was free listing all Easter w/e lol. Just finished 5 mins ago.
Only saved £1.13 an item, they get you on the final value fees.

 

I just removed the stock one and bolted it in. Nothing extra needed.

 

Yeah I just see that, but might just do it anyway as like you said you're not saving much.

thanks Mitch, performed brilliantly at snett yesterday, lots of wheel swapping and suspension adjustments between sessions as it was wet,dry,wet,dry!!
