Am I right traders knock about 1k off the actual value of bikes .. I'm getting rid of my 765rs soon and tested the water from we buy bikes .. offered me 5250 for it ...

I think I'll take extras off and return to as standard as I can and list April time to get the most from it 2019 model with 2700 ish miles on the clock... never sold to a trader before I'm unaware of how they work Screenshot_20250129_101345_Gallery.jpeg

  2. They will give you bottom book price regardless of what bits you have fitted to it. How these guys operate is they give you an online price without seeing it then when you take it along they will look at it and offer a lower price. Better off selling privately if you don't need the cash in a hurry.

Yeah it's going privately in April nearer to season starting .. I'm in no rush for money just know it won't be used that much as I've only put 1400 miles on it in 2 years of ownership. That and I want to use the tona more this year .

Fwiw - the below is your rough eBay competition in the middle of winter… (yes mileages/age differ). I’d put it up for £150-300 less than the going rate & it’ll sell. But wait 2-3mths and prices & demand will be stronger.

+1 to Buzz675 - Never trade in a bike, they’ll knock £1k off easily, just strip the aftermarket parts, sell separately before & price competitively & it’ll sell.

    GLWS!

Thanks for that..... yeah it's going nowhere till April and it will be standard when it goes as you mention mate .

Probably pull 300+ for the exhaust, gb covers and frame sliders..

    Appreciate the responses
