Had a test ride of the Rocket 3R today (sorry but no pictures taken) and what a bike 2nd gear around 3k revs, pull back the throttle and it goes like a scalded cat nearly ripping my arms off! Brakes are really good pulling up the bike without drama and it can be hussled around the bends too. First time I have ridden a bike where the pegs are ahead of your feet (only had sports tourers or sports bikes) which took a bit to adjust too) and the set/tank area is a lot wider than the Daytona but the seat is a lot lower to no issues with feet on the floor. Found it unusual, especially for the cost of the bike that a blipper and/or quick shifter isn't included but as none of my bikes have never had it I can't say I missed it (I have used them when testing Suzuki's and BMW's). Overall, I wouldn't mind one but Mr Bank Manager, he say no
You know you're getting old(er) and sensible(er) when a motorised sofa suddenly becomes appealing after a lifetime on sportsbikes Have you got any more test rides booked up?
No - Triumph spammed me with a test day thingy so I thought 'why not' I am getting older though (next birthday I will be 60) so perhaps a motorised sofa ain't a bad idea
