    Maple flavoured bacon??? :spew:

What's wrong with pig flavoured bacon? That dog's stupid, he wouldn't have liked it anyway.

It means maple syrup flavoured....it's very good...kind of like bacon with a hint of Lyons syrup added....nomnomnom!

To be fair maple syrup is nothing like Lyons in flavour, and its a different cut of bacon. I actually like the sweet and savoury which is still a relatively strange concept here.

Off thread for a moment (there's a first ;) ) I love the sweet and savoury at home (Honey salted peanuts :p yumyum), but have watched your countrymen drown a breakfast in Maple syrup, whitch I have to say didn't float my boat at 6.30am.. So forgive me for not getting it right away, and feel free to send some Maple syrup bacon by airmail to me to try though Daz - I'm always up for a new culinary experience ;) !

However BOT, Mrs Gee is prepping her last Assignment Essay and severely grouchy - Rin Tin Tin cheered her up no end, so thanks for posting D :D

Yeah....I'm not a big fan of the sweet & savoury thing TBH...and I don't really get the pancakes every day thing either....a good breakfast needs plenty of bacon, some sausage, black pud, country potatoes, poached eggs & sourdough toast....damn! - now I'm getting hungry!!
