    Hi,

Does anyone use any good luggage on for touring on a street triple?

I used my Kriega stuff last time (20l + 10l) which I used before on other bikes, but it was a bit crap on the street triple and never really stayed put of felt good.

    Any recommendations?

    Ta

I've got a new near Oxford magnetic tankbag for sale if that's of any interest to you? I never use it.

    Thanks guys!

Cheers Kwacky should have said really looking for rear luggage. I've spotted some motech panniers which look pretty good, and not too lame given they are panniers. I might try a set and aee

Flapping, filtering,if it's wet, and a good set up isn't cheap.

There's not much filtering on my touring trips really, except maybe out of London. Good point about cost though, they certainly aren't cheap.

We tour every year about 10 of us and all the people over the years who have tried panniers don't the following year so that says something about them. A top box if far better.

Not a street, but I did a trip to the isle of man on my Daytona with the triumph panniers. Great bit of kit, think they're hard to get hold of now.

  15. Exactly what I used for 9 days at the TT Last year. Reckon I packed for every eventuality and easily got it all in.

    RECOMENDED

One thing with this luggage... the elastic compression cords are ridged so they wear the tape loops when you draw them up. I have replace a couple of the loops which completely wore through. Either be prepared to replace loops, be extra careful pulling the cords, or possibly replace with unridged elastic cord, before it does any damage.
Apart from that great, hardwearing and roomy.
