Hey guys I think one of the lads on here has had their gorgeous bike nicked Ivo Joao Ferreira Mendez Guys my bike got stolen today. CU56RZX Ealing Broadway shopping center. West London please please keep an eye out for it. Very distinctive red and black paint job.
Cripes, I used to park around there all the time (until I realised that I could use the council ones with barriers for free). Sadly, it probably won't help much, but the place is well covered by cctv and there should be some sort of footage of the cnts.
This looks like the same bike that was at snetterton a couple of weeks back, nice fella. Hope it turns up

It wouldn't be the first time people have tried after trackdays. Nothing wrong with open speculation. Don't take it to seriously maybe i should have put a emoji in there.
Joe has a point. I forget the stats., but most crimes against oneself or one's property are carried out by someone you know.
Hmm, just supposing for a minute that this is an insurance scam (not that us fine, upstanding bikers types would ever contemplate such a thing...), you wouldn't then advertise the fact that your bike's been 'stolen' and ask for info to try and get it back. That'd be about as stoopid as trying to defraud your insurance in the first place.
Just like when the people who appeal on TV for the missing person end up being the one who killed them? Legitimises the story?
I'm unsure, I don't see how it's a silly idea. If it is reported stolen and found to have been smashed up then the blame would go with the criminal who nicked it. The person who reported it stolen gets it back and claims for damaged bike as it wouldn't of been insured whilst on track. How doesn't that work?
It's fraud, that's why it's a silly idea . The thought did go through my mind after I'd binned mine on track, but then I came back to reality. But that aside, I was trying to make the point that if that's what matey has chosen to do (not casting aspersions or anything), then the last thing you'd want is for a load of fellow bikers "helpfully" keeping an eye out for the bike and coming forward with any info about something that they've seen. You'd want to try and keep it as low profile as poss. You know what a bunch of nosey b'stards we all are when it comes to other bikes, especially a 675.
Oh right I see where you are coming from. On that note yes it's silly but some people aren't as honest as yourself, personally I wouldn't have the balls to do it and I'd feel bad that I had lied about it regardless of how heartless insurance companies are.
