Hey guys, I know I haven't been on for a bit, but we went out our yearly motorbike trip and I recorded it as usual. We flew over and rented bikes this time, BMW GS's (boo), and I quite enjoyed riding the 1200 for a bit!

Anyway, let me know what you think.

Thanks steffy! We stayed in a little place called teba about an hours drive from malaga airport. There's a villa called LaCalera there where the Owner, Mark, rents out accommodation and bikes. So using that as a base we went out and did a couple of hundred miles for 3 days.

When we arrived it was actually bloody raining!! So we left a sunny Manchester and landed in a rainy Spain... Cleared up for the first day riding though.

Thoroughly recommend riding in Spain, as I'm sure many people do :).

Looks really fab, one day I may summon what's needed to do a euro trip.

    Well done.

I guess the word I was looking for for was/is confidence!

  7. Steffy, do it. It sounds more daunting than it is. We are off to Picos in Spain in September. Just ride at your own pace and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere

@captsteffydog - if you're not too far from Folkestone, why not nip down one evening and get the evening Chunnel across, three days from Calais is more than plenty for a trip to and around the Ardennes. Cracking roads, good beer and small draw of Spa and the Nürburgring - worth going just to see all the bikes/cars. If you didn't enjoy riding on the wrong side, then you just catch the next one home on a flex ticket.

Just remember to ride on the right hand side of the road, watch out for crazy French farmers pulling out onto the main road in front on you and Belgian food isn't too hot either... it's great fun, you'll love it.
