Many thanks for help on last post.
Having done the checks they are out and need new shims.
I assume incorrectly the stamps on the shims are the exact sizes, not happy with my micrometer
From the attached again thought I would replace with the exact dimensions.
So do I need to compromise as I don’t know the assumed size of a 258 or what a 256 is.
    Any help appreciated
    My sheet is attached.
Ps not bought yet, hopefully you will be kind and I will learn something

  2. Are those the micrometer readings on the sheet or the shim markings as you don't have a 2.53.
Triumph shims go up in 0.025mm increments, for example 2.50 then 2.525 which will be marked 252, 2.55 and then 2.575mm which I think is marked 258.

Yes woody you are bang on. I have an updated version and yes I worked out the stamp isn’t the actual size. So I measured and corrected and now bought shims to suit
    Fingers crossed.
Although I was surprised there wasn’t anywhere that published the fact that a 258 was actually a 2.575 for the novices.
We have to learn from help by the experts
