Hello all - finally got myself a first gen Daytona in scorched yellow - pick up in a few weeks and can't wait... The bike has a couple of 675.cc stickers on it and it looks to have been based near Essex so its previous owners may still be around?

Thanks everyone! I've always wanted one and it's the bike that got me into bikes, so I'm really looking forward to getting it. No pics yet but it looks pretty standard from what I can see aside from an Arrow can, gold levers (I need to check if they are Chinesium or something decent), LED indicators and crash bungs. There is also a weird stator cover as per my other thread. Once I check it over (not seen it yet) and I'm happy with its condition, I might take it to Clive Wood as it is due a major service pretty soon. I agree with the comments - I may be biased but I reckon in that colour it's the best looking bike of all time (flame suit on). There's just something alive about it.
