What’s the quickest/easiest method of not having the running light on for a track day? Removing the bulb or is there a fuse I can pull out?

    Thanks in advance!

  2. Just disconnect the connector to the headlight harness.

Is that under the left infill panel?

Yes, the headlamp unit has it's own short sub-loom that plugs in with a black plug.

I would have to check the wiring diagram to answer that, as the fuse may be shared by other components. Also persistent insertion & removal of a fuse can tend to soften the contact plates, and you don't want any loose connections there.
Fwiw for track I simply run mine with the fuse in, and no headlamp plugged in.

That’s extremely helpful. I’ll remove the black plug.

Bottom left hand corner of your above image ( in line with, and forward of those three relays) there is a small in-line black plug with 4x brassed pins inside. That is the one that you need to part to isolate the headlight.

Thank you. I’ll see if I can find it.
