Hey guys I'm after a bit if knowledge if possible ;)

Have a set of promach rear sets fitted on the 675 at the minute

I know these work brilliant in race/gp shift ..
But how can you do them for road shift?

Tried reversing the link rod rotation it's ok but catches on the sprocket cover and the link block knocks the water bottle

  2. I ran these in road shift. I had to remove the spocket cover and use a HRC reservoir instead if the original

    The hrc water bottle?

And wouldn't the hoses and electrical wires be in risk if removed the sprocket cover?

Guys I fitted a 145mm link rod to the shift linkage

It works but it is very stif going up and down,
Is there anyone with a aftermarket water bottle?

    Links not working,

    Isn't it just a catch/overflow bottle?

If so can't I use an old smaller one and mount it there ?

  9. Re: Rearset help

Yes, the HRC kit on eBay is about a tenner, I just cable tied it to the rad under the filler cap. You can get a cut down sprocket cover from Triumph or ebay, the Aroow rearsets need it when they are run in race/GP

    Awesome!
    Cheers mate ordered one,

And will be mounting in same place as the OEM but just making more room for the gear link actuator block to be at 90degress instead of the 45 degrees it's at now

  11. Re: Rearset help

Yeah, if it's not as close to 90 degrees as possible you'll have a lot of missed gears

Yeah was looking earlier, also was very stud shifting at 45 degrees

So swapping for smaller bottle and longer link rod if needed, or try finding an extension piece :/
