    Hello,

I have a Daytona 675 -08 and had the dealer put on a new OEM stator cover since the old one was scratched.

Unfortunately, they ordered the stator cover with the embossed Triumph logo (forgot to tell them that it doesn't fit the stator cover protection from GB Racing I was using). Long story short, I decided to purchase the stator cover protection from R&G racing instead, hoping it would fit. To my horror, it doesn't quite work out with one of the screws, but the fitment seems okay apart from that. I'm thinking it should work if I get a longer screw and put some spacers between the engine cover and the R&G plastic.

    Any advice?

I think from memory I fitted a washer (s) behind at least one mounting point on my R&G cover because I wasn't happy with the small gap, I do have a bad memory though.

There is supposed to be one washer behind one of the screws (A) as explained in the mounting instructions from R&G.

However, that's not the issue, I'll be with the bike next week and will post pictures.

I had to replace the two bottom screws with a longer M6*45mm. No washers needed.

Not sure if it's the optimal length, but looks to be alright.
