How long does it take to fit a rad guard?

I've just had NCT on the phone confirming my 12k service next week and I said while youre there can you fit a rad guard for me if i bring it along.

"No I cant do that cos your bikes booked in all day and you’ll need a couple of hours into the next day to fit that."

    Is that right?

  2. 25 minutes according to the Evotech website...

will he need to take extra farings off?

im a gnats ballbag away from phoning him and cancelling tbh - the most miserable, unhelpful cunt going that man and i absolutely begrudge giving him best part of £500 to be like that

  4. Yeah, just one side I believe. It's a doddle to be honest. I say cancel him and go somewhere else. If your gonna spend £500 quid the least he could do is be polite.

Easy fitting mate and bottom fairing is coming off anyway so even easier.

  6. For your cost I would hazard a guess the fairing would be removed anyway. Surely as great customer service they would fit it at same time. Obviously a knob rot scrote.

Took 20 min to fit the evo tech one on my street triple , so should say 30 to 40 min max on a daytona that's with taking the fairing off, and as above if they are servicing your bike surely the fairing will be off to do this anyway

  8. Easiest install ever mate, don't pay anybody to do it!
Especially some outfit that will already have your bike in bits.
That big smoke really is an expensive place to ride. 2hrs!!!!!

Ive fitted a evotech gaurd to my 2014 daytona takes 30 mins or so,on mine its simple take right hand side fairing off, undo expapsion tank and your there,if you do decide to do your own then you may as well change the engine oil and coolant while your in there saving yourself a few quid,£500 is a lot of money and i am sure if you tried you could half that bill.

  10. I never had to remove anythink other than a few bolts on my 2011.
Although I had no instructions either so it may be ready to fall off, lol
If you did have to move the expansion bottle then changing the cooling fluid is part of the 12k service anyway
