So, I fitted a quickshifter to my street triple this morning. Works beautifully.

However, I'm confused regarding adjusting the gear lever angle.

As I understand it, you need a length of 203.5mm between the ends of each ball joint, as stated in the instructions?
But then later in the instructions, it says that if you need to adjust the angle, unplug it blah blah blah, and rotate the rod to achieve the required angle....
That's going to change that length, no? And even then, the ball joint attached to the gear lever, is screwed fully home as stated in the manual?????

So how am I supposed to adjust it to achieve the angle i want, but still have a length of 203.5mm?

The length of the rod doesn’t matter mate,
That’s just probably a stock measure to bring the gear lever to a standard position. what is important is that the actuator arm & rod are at 90 degrees.

Huh, I was wondering how it could possibly matter... But was too pussy to try

If that's the case, why do they specify different measurements for different models?

Wouldn't it stand to reason that there would be different measurements to achieve the original position on the different models.?
It will be a measurement for a Technician to be able to drop it straight in at the OEM point. -It's then up to you to adjust according to your preferences.
