Haha, thought that red one looked familiar, parked mine across the road. Didn't wanna make anyone jealous of how good it looks in black
That scorched yellow one was mine . I rode down with the speed and street next to me, I was also surprised how few daytona's were down there as well. Good little event though
That's yet another reminder that I REALLY MUST put my forum stickers on the bike. I'm sure that I've seen loads of you without realising it
red hot today ,went to south shields car bike show lot of classics very busy loads there ,saw few striples and a lot of trumpets
Last Wednesday, Street triple, R I think, coming over Devils Beeftubs near Dumfries. I was coming the other way on my Daytona. I was warning the pilot to slow down as there was a speed van tucked away in the village Id just passed through.
Met up with the lovely non member Sarah and her equally gorgeous Super111 for a mini blat and a coffee earlier
Took my bike out for a much needed 200+ mile tour of south and mid wales and who’d have thought it, I bumped into my old bike (with her new owner) in Llandovery at the west end cafe Red Daytona in the background! Nice to see she’s being well looked after and giving the new owner lots of fun times!
I didnt see it on the road as it hasnt seen one of them for years by the looks of it but.... https://www.motorcyclenews.com/bikes-for-sale/triumph/daytona-675/3576340/ 1500 miles in 10 years!!
Does a very cold, very wet car park count as on the road? I took both of the kids to be fettled last weekend and have their suspension adjusted. I've still got to get out on them to test it (The day's conversion largely consisted of my partner saying, no, there are not MY bikes, they're hers!)
Mark Harris is supposed to be very good at setting up suspension. He lives 5 minutes up the road from me and has serviced the supension on all my bikes, but I haven't had a chance to take the bike to his workshop for a complete set-up yet! Hopefully you will be very happy with the results.
There was a lot of the equivalent of teeth sucking and tutting when he had my bikes. Which was understandable as they were bloody awful and I'm too much of a mechanical ignoramus to even attempt playing with the settings myself though. I've has all my previous Trumphs done by BN Race Science, but since escaping London they're not exactly local. MH tweaked the 636 at one of the Greenham Kawasaki suspension days last year, and he's also at some of the TVAM meetings.
Does a carpark count as the road? I've asked this before, haven't I? I saw this little lovely @ sportsbikeshop Reading this afternoon.
