not here. What is it about crimble that makes people start off... totally fed up with being called a miserable git, you're ruining my Christmas, and all the rest of it. She has too much to drink, thinks its fun to pick a row, and then abuse. Happy fucking Christmas.

Take her gently by the hand, lead her up to the bedroom, and give her a "proper seeing to".
You mark my words, she'll be good as gold for at least the next 24-36 hrs mate.

Nil by mouth though, at least not until she's calmed down... Far too dangerous.[SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND SMILING EYES]

    You're not alone friend:

The MIL tried stirring up some shit with me a couple of days ago but failed as I didn't take the bait. Then last night out of earshot her and my BIL had a massive bust up. Totally uncalled for from the MIL according to MrsW. Not sure what's going on in her head - bit of a screw loose tbh.

Like others have said mate Christmas seems go be a stressful time and to be honest people always take it out on the people they most care for and love. Hoping it's all blown over by now mate and you can enjoy your end of Boxxing Day.

Pensioners eh?!? - too much spare time = time to get resentful. Plus they are always up way too early, shouldn't be allowed to clog up the supermarkets on the weekends and drive way too slowly. Anyone would think those on borrowed time would be in a hurry to get there!

Should bring back national service for them, judging on the amount of NS stories I've had to listen to today... Worked in the pay section too! Hardly

    I posted up tops.

Things have calmed down and civility if not peace is restored but TBH I can't wait to get back to work.

Update: MIL also had harsh words with my SIL. It seems that none of the MILs three kids or spouses give two shits about her (funny that since I cook a roast for her every Sunday...). New Years Eve is the next likely instalment of this saga because MrsW has only been daft enough to invite her round to our place. Gonna be theatrical since she doesn't drink and everyone else who's coming over does in spades
