Audio is compressed mono recorded at 32000hz.

In your sequence settings change the audio setting to match this. Hey presto clear audio.

Most computers assume a frequency of 44.1khz so that's why it sounds weird playing back.

  3. Can the Olfie handle a 64gb card? Earlier Gopro's weren't able to use 64gigs. Don't ask me why but I remember reading on mine it couldn't take a 64 only up to 32.

I remember this as well, I had problems with a 64gb card, when I started using 32gb it ran a lot better. But I can't prove if it was caused by the certain make of card or the 64gb.

64GB cards are fine in it. In fact I've a 128gb one on the way that I'll try in it. Just get sandisk extreme class 10 ultra high speed 1

  8. I've used 64gb cards in the Olfi and my Hero 3+ Silver, no problems.

Put the firmware bin file back on your microsd and put it in again it should sort it out then delete it from the microsd.

So in size setting are you only getting 120fps vga?

I think my olfi has issues with me lol

Hmm that's the message you get when you select high data rate and the card isn't fast enough for it. If they advertised it as different have a word with them.

Remember these are brand new cameras. Just for balance I've not had my issues

Joe have you tried going to default in settings and selecting yes? This reverts the camera to its default 1080p60 state. If that doesn't work remove the battery for about 20 mins. Then try the firmware again. When you say slow motion what files are being written to the card? Are you viewing them in an editing programme?

  17. If u are wanting to record high bit rate streams u need to spend the cash on decent sd cards. Dual channel slc memory is the way forward but with a brand that can sustain high read/write speeds.

    Stating the obvious....

  18. It is a high bit rate one, they sold me it. It recorded the other day (with sound issues) but now it just says that and I haven't even done anything to it haha

Few shots from today. I tried it on the chest harness but pulled up under my chin and held up by my Kriega if that makes sense. This is 2.5K at 30FPS and all the settings I mentioned in video above. No colour grading, sharpening or anything these are the images out of the camera!

Really, really impressed with it. It hasn't left my backpack since I got it. Got a Thruxton R video, 959 vs 899 and some more 1299 stuff coming in next few weeks. Olfi is being used in all of them.
