    Hi Folks,

I'm looking to upgrade the rear shock on my 2007 Daytona 675. I'd like to get either the Track or Race shock from Nitron - http://www.triumphracesupport.co.uk/Nitron.htm. I do maybe 5 or so trackdays a year and have done 10 or so trackdays in total, and am probably on the borderline of a Novice/Intermediate rider in most trackdays. I'm trying to choose between the Track shock and the Race shock. Originally I was thinking the Track shock looked great, but then I notice it's missing high and low speed compression damping, and for another £50 or so I could get that on the Race Shock.

I guess my question is, would anyone suggest one strongly over the other?

    Cheers, Tom

Well either are a good choice, but you can't have a suspension that's "too good", so if you can manage the extra
£50 then go for the Race.....you might never need the added adjustability, but if you end up advancing to Fast Group then you most surely will, and you'll be kicking yourself for not spending the extra initially.

  4. Wait till you get faster mate spend the money on track time. And Tyres Standard stuff is fine even up to fast group and to race with at club level. I'm not one to talk though as I've got the k-tech 35dds shock (brand new £1200) I paid £850 done one race at oulton. Looking back now wish I'd hadn't bothered it been alot of hassle setting up. And cost me about £1000 in rear tyres. You prob won't have this problem. That's just my opinion though.

But if you defo want one get the best you can afford. And you better doing the front at same time.
