Hi All

New member to the forum and D675 owners club! Recently purchased a 11 month old black beauty with 600 miles on the clock , now waiting impatiently for some nice dry weather to let her stretch her legs!! She has no mods as yet but looking TB slip on as my first upgrade..... Can anyone advise if there are any issues with the US import ( no Co2 sensor plug)or am I better off buying from Jordan's in Leeds? Also, having read various posts I may also need to source another tail tidy than the one supplied by TB... Any advice will be greatly received.

Many thanks :)

V

Many thanks Hamster,

Will, no doubt, have plenty questions for you and the rest of the members over the coming weeks

4. Hi Vegasoul, you may want to invest in D3 Components tail tidy - great quality and less likely to attract unwanted attention.
Oh, and welcome to the forum :)

Hiya,

As Iceman said D3 tail tidy will be a good bet, I made my own but will get a D3 one later. I have the M5 Carbon Black series, I done a great deal of research and managed to find a nice person in the US who marks it as a spare part with a low value. Have had no running issues at all. I had the Arrow map on mine and it seems to run fine with the TB.

Welcome to the forum. I think Jordans have got a few deals on at the moment. I have got the Area Managers number if you want it. She's pretty switched on. You can also get a custom map downloaded from Triumph dealers as well.

Hi all,

Many thanks for the welcome and the advice. D3 tail tidy will be the way to go. Bladebiker, My mate has 10% discount and is very friendly with Jordans so will see what price he can get for me...... May get that number depending what he can do for me (pretty sure won't beat any deal he can get for them tho- he's a master of good deals!). Like the carbon black but thinking the carbon with gold trim would suit mine better as got the gold wheels..... Think its time to break into the piggy bank!!!

Hi V,
Sounds like your bike is pretty much new, only 600 miles ! Lucky you.

Where are you? You mention Leeds, if you're near there you may want to look at Hamster's "Forum Trackday". https://www.675.cc/675/viewtopic.php?f=64&t=9398
He's looking at Cadwell, the same part of the world and a perfect opportunity for you to bond with your lovely new toy.

Welcome to the best & friendliest 675.cc forum :D , hope you enjoy the banter.!

Quick one on the tail tidy recommendation for D3, had a look at the website which pointed me to eBay. Couldn't see any triumph specific tidies... Did you buy a 675 specific or another bike tidy? Cheers.

Well at least it got me noticed!!! My missus found it highly amusing too....... Just like feminine itches,it'll clear up and be forgotten about for a while!

Bike was too good to pass by....previous owner a guy from R&D at Hinckley. Didn't trade in my beloved so now have a little sis for my 955i(2002 with 40,000 miles and still going strong).

I may well look at that St Marks, I'm in leafy Cheshire but have in-laws not far from Caldwell. Did it 2 years ago on fzr1000 exup and loved it... Got a few pointers of Steve plater too! Unfortunately the fzr bit the dust at Oulton two yrs in feb (13th!)..... I got away wih broken wrist, collarbone and 5th metatarsal-not bad for coming off at close to a ton!! Not put me off tho, but that could be due to the knock on the head! :D :D

Hi Sloth

Not bought tail tidy as yet..... And now I'm thinking arrow?! Had one on demo a rode and was great sound but like the TB too.......choices choices!!! It may come down to a coin toss at this rate!,

19. Sloth - they are custom made, just email them. I think it's about £35 and it may take about 2 weeks
