hi all, as the title suggests I don't have a 675 just yet, need to sell my SV first, but once that's gone I'll be looking even harder to find myself a Daytona.
Wow, yet another "Ex SV", they must be a good proving ground for our little 675's There are some cracking ones in our "For Sale" section mate. Welcome along. Hope you enjoy the site (and the bike, when you get one ) Keep us posted on progress fella.!
Welcome along. Not had a sv myself but u won't be disappointed with a 675. Btw yellow one are quicker
Welcome, when buying a Daytona it's essential you buy the fastest, best looking Daytona which as those with any kind of knowledge on the subject will tell you it's the yellow ones it also happens to be the colour chosen by all the most handsome riders too!
thanks for the welcomes. budget is around 5k. all ready had a look in the for sale section, and what i've seen look like great bikes. as for colour i think i'll be going red or black, not even seen a yellow for sale yet. a question i do have is, does the exhaust affect soft panniers that don't have any heat shielding?
Welcome mate, you don't see yellows for sale very often, there aren't that many people on this earth who are worthy of owning one
Welcome. Enjoy the forum. I hope you find your 675 soon. As for luggage, I bought Oxford Humpback Panniers 2 years ago, but I can't answer your question as I've never used them! They looked good when I tried them for fit though!  I'm sure others used them at previous Fests with no problems.
Hiya, welcome along. The pipe won't affect your panniers mate, as there is a heat shield over the top. Yellow is older 06 ish. I did a post on Daytona colours, there all shown from day 1. Take your time mate, and bag a good'n.
I've picked up a low miles 06 for 4k. When I was looking, you could pick up an 09 model from around 5.5k, might be worth stretching your budget a bit if you can. Oh, and hello
the hunt isn't going to well, due to no interest in my SV. my budget is a bit flexible but for insurance an older bike will be cheaper, but saying that if i find a good deal age doesn't come into it. good to know that the exhaust wont set my panniers on fire, not that that would of stopped me getting a daytona.
a few hours after saying there was no interest in my SV i got a pm on the SV forum and have sold it, once the guy comes and picks it up and pays for it, so i can now start looking and booking test rides
