Hey just bought my very frist motorbike and it had to be a Daytona 675 2011. I love that under tail exhaust, as I'm still very new to riding I've been taking it easy last few months but looking to hit some nice new roads, anyone got any suggestions where good in scotland?

This bike came with heated grips, a quick shifter (have no idea how it works) some sort of chain oil device and braided brake pipes. Absolutely love this bike.

Any hints and tips would be awesome thanks

  2. Welcome in, very clean looking bike! As for the quickshifter, keep it pinned and shift up (no need for the clutch) it kills the spark for a few milliseconds to allow you to change gear without the clutch.

Nice choice, it was my first bike too, as you say just go steady as they are mental!

You got the best exhaust too

Thanks yeah still finding my feet with it but everytime I ride it i love it even more. Will definitely play around with quick shifter but might wait off until I've got a few miles under my belt. The exhaust sounds amazing however the seat is a bit hard for long journeys.

There is a Gel seat that is very slightly more comfortable, having said that I'm never on mine for more than 45 mins anyway.
Bike looks great, with some tasteful extras already there. Well done.

Yeah I heard there was a gel and a comfort seat you could buy but haven't done very much research on it yet. Very happy with the extra

Welcome in. Looks like you have the triumph led indicators too. Great kit. The gel seat makes a difference...if you're thinking of doing some miles, I'd recommend it.
I also found an aftermarket shock transformed the bike for me. Like you, it was my first bike and the new shock gave a much plusher ride, enabling me to accurately place it on the road.
Hope she brings you much joy

Just in case you had decided to think further about a gel seat.... there's one for sale on the forum. I've no connection to the seller but the seat looks in good nick.
