Very trick & modern Cloughie, hope you enjoy her.
Pleased you told us it's "Cola colour", I may have mistaken it for black. ;)

  9. Nice, looks in great condition not all rusty and covered in anodised tat like most Gixxers.:D

750 probably the ideal power and weight for a sportsbike on our roads, if I ever had to replace my Daytona R I'd definitely have one of these over a new CBR600RR or ZX6R
What year is it, when did they finish production in the UK?
    Shame about the Akra.

It's a 60 plate registered in 2011 not sure 2015/16 the blue gp one???

Akra its to aggressive for me pops n fart on run off I don't like it I reckon I could pull 700 quid back on it though. But my insurance would be void as is .

Looks great in the sun .. i hate to say it i prefer it over my tona .. 20250513_134839.jpeg

  12. Good work, new can looks proper, shame it needs the pillion footrests refitted though.
Ready to go now all the nice weather is coming to an end:rolleyes:

Was inspired by your new bike to look at some gsxr 750's for sale and was surprised at the prices, they seem to be holding their values well, although so are Daytona 675 R's to be fair.

  16. Looking good mate, £10 exhaust hanger a big improvement although i think it would look better with the number plate angled more to finish it off, looks too vertical to my eye.
Liking the colour scheme more and more with each picture, very stealth but with some extra bling when the sun's out.

  18. He's kept that nice, no wonder he doesn't want to sell, both are great examples for their age.

It still amazes me when people are surprised my Daytona is now 12 yrs old with 28k miles but still looks new, most don't look after their stuff anymore, just let them go to pot and trade them in for the next tempting PCP deal every 3 yrs, and then there's the people who think your bike has to look like an oily pile of crap or you're not a "real biker".
