Welcome in. Quite a few women on here. Normally the faster more aggressive element to be honest. Hooliboobigans! Lucky13 and I cant understand why more women arent into bikes.

  5. Because that would mean spending more time with hubby

  6. Errr girls who want to date should try track days instead of online dating, odds aren't too bad ;)

Hi and welcome Shezz (Cheryl?) CBR 6 is a good step bike onto the 675, similar in some ways but the 675 is a bit more extreme if that's what you want. Interesting choice of avatar and appears to have gotten a reaction from one or two members!

Anyway hope you enjoy the forum and decide to go with the 675!

She's right you know! Most blokes involved in bikes would prefer a girl that rides as well, and trackdays are concentrated bike territory after all. Happy hunting if that's your thing Shezz.

    Welcome in shezz.

Are you going for a 2013 or pre? I've just come back from Europe on mine (2012). Did 2000+ miles in 5 days and was fine, I bought a gel seat before which I'd highly recommend.

My second big bike and I have no complaints at all, useable power and looks fantastic :) Enjoy

If your doing some miles then a gel seat and a suspension set up for road ridding is a good plan.
For £45 its the best value performance mod for any sports bike.

After that its good gear that counts.
Nothing worse than a pooly fitting lid or gloves,
    Welcome btw

They are fine, I went to holland, Germany,Czech,Austria,Italy, belguim, Switzerland , France last year on my 2011 D675 , in 8 days, doing about 3500 miles , it was fine

And tomorrow me and hubby away for 3 weeks, off round Europe again this time I'm on a 2013 675r

I mean they nae comfy like a naked sit upright bike but hey fun comes at a cost - comfort.

But it's a very worthy trade ESP when you hit the Alps..! Nothing beats a 675 on those twistys for the fun factor

Btw it is the worst bike EVER to be a pillion on well 2012 and older the 2013 is better

It's far to high up compared to the rider , so forget taking a passenger, it's just awful on the back of a D675

I've ridden on back of heaps of hubby's sportsbikes so have a fair amount to compare it to and the older D675 are just the pits to be a pillion on

The pillion area is for luggage really not a passenger, I mean, it is a sports bike!

I say 'thanks guys' to groups of people female and male, just my wording i guess I know what I mean lol Star sign? random question, but it is Virgo. More women should definitely bike, it wont necessarily mean them spending more time with their partner as from experience you men fall behind anyways, te he.
Unfortunately I have not yet taken part in a track day :( I've just got out of University and travelling and am in full time work for the MoJ so hard to get the time :( I live not far from Donnington though so will have to pop there soon maybe. I definitely won't be able to afford the 2013 . . . yet. Will certainly look into the gel seat as I need the bike for country hoping holidays. Already got nice new lid and gloves and got my eye on a matching leather jacket and trousers with a wicked design. Well I'll just have to make sure when I get a partner they have their own bike and don't need to go on the back, then I can go even faster  win win!

Hi Shezza, Good to see you took my advice and gave us a look in. I forgot to warn you about some of this forum. A more friendly, helpful and perverted bunch you'll be hard pressed to find!
Glad my Daytona made such an impression that you now want one.
I have a gel seat with your name on when you get yours.
Hope to see ya soon x :)
